Applying for a Loaner Computer
To determine if your family qualifies for a loaner computer:
- Families must qualify for free or reduced lunch (FRL) AND provide proof of income.
- Complete and submit both a current family income form and an NVVA computer request form.
Families who apply for a laptop and do not qualify based on one of the reasons above will be notified.
Families are responsible for maintaining reliable internet access.

Request Your High School Diploma
NVVA students denied a standard high school or adult standard diploma solely because they did not satisfy any existing requirement to pass the Nevada High School Proficiency Examination (NHSPE) will be issued a standard high school or adult standard diploma if:
- Students submit a written request to NVVA to determine whether they, notwithstanding the failure to satisfy any existing requirement to pass the NHSPE, otherwise satisfied existing requirements to receive a standard high school or adult standard diploma; and
- After reviewing student transcripts and any other relevant documentation, NVVA determines that, notwithstanding the failure to satisfy any existing requirement to pass the NHSPE, students otherwise satisfied existing requirements to receive a standard high school or adult standard diploma.
Updating Your Address
To request an address change, complete this form and submit your proof of residency.
Accepted types of proof of residency include:
- Utility bill: Gas, electric, water, etc., (insurance and cell phone bills are not accepted as proof of residency)
- Lease agreement (first and last pages only)
- Mortgage statement (first and last pages only)
If proof of residency is not in the legal guardian's name (for example, the guardian is living with family or friends) the guardian needs to provide a signed, notarized letter from the owner of the property stating the student and legal guardian live at that current residence. In addition, the guardian needs to provide a proof of residency from the owner of the property.
